We all want to live well.
But life gets busy. Our energy changes. Relationships shift. Work expands. We get distracted. We lose momentum.
Sometimes nothing is obviously wrong.
We simply notice:
Something feels off.
I call that Drift.
Drift isn’t failure. It’s part of being human.
We live inside countless patterns — patterns of thought, behaviour, emotion, relationships and attention — and sometimes those patterns slowly pull us away from what matters most.
The goal isn’t to fix everything.
It’s to notice what’s happening, pull one thread, and find your way back.
That’s what the Living Well Plan is designed to help you do.
Living Well Is Different for Everyone
What does it actually mean to live well?
There isn’t one answer.
For you, it might mean feeling healthier.
Being more present with the people you love.
Doing meaningful work.
Having more time.
Learning.
Creating.
Contributing.
Or simply feeling more like yourself again.
Your answer is shaped by your principles, dreams, desires, relationships, responsibilities and goals.
And underneath all of it is a question none of us completely solves:
What matters most now?
The Living Well Plan gives you space to explore that question — without requiring you to have your whole life figured out.
Inside, You’ll Discover ...
- The five areas of Drift — Mind, Body, Heart, Path and Space — and how to notice when something feels off.
- How to see the patterns underneath your habits, instead of treating behaviours as isolated problems.
- Why your State matters and how energy, stress and emotion can change what feels possible.
- How to Pull One Thread instead of trying to fix your whole life at once.
- The Choice Point — a simple place where awareness gives you the opportunity to respond differently.
- Five ways to experiment with a habit: Start, Stop, More, Less or Monitor.
- How to make a habit small enough to practise, even when your energy or motivation changes.
- A different way to think about No Zero Days — keeping one thread connected rather than chasing perfect consistency.
- How to notice Impact, learn from your experiment and decide whether to keep, adjust or let it go.
- Your own Living Well Plan to bring everything together.
Habits Are Not the Point
Life is the point.
Habits matter because they are the repeated practices through which the patterns of our lives are shaped.
Some help us feel grounded, connected and alive.
Others may have helped once but no longer serve us in the same way.
The goal isn’t to build the perfect habit stack.
It’s to become more aware of the patterns you’re living and discover which practices help you move closer to the life that matters to you.
Over time, those experiments become your own set of foundational habits.
Not someone else’s formula.
Yours.
Here’s How It Works
1. Notice the Drift Something feels off.
Look across:
Mind · Body · Heart · Path · Space
Where are you feeling friction?
2. Pull One Thread
You don’t need to understand everything.
Choose one behaviour or pattern that keeps showing up.
3. Notice Your State
What condition are you usually in when the pattern happens?
Tired? Stressed? Overwhelmed? Grounded? Energized?
4. Find the Choice Point
Where could the pattern bend?
What else might you choose in that moment?
5. Run an Experiment
Choose to:
Start · Stop · Do More · Do Less · Monitor
Then practise something small enough to fit your real life.
6. Notice the Impact
Did it help?
Keep it.
No difference?
Adjust it or let it go.
You’re not trying to prove the habit works.
You’re trying to learn what helps you live well.
We Will Drift
You will lose motivation.
Your energy will change.
Old patterns will return.
New challenges will appear.
Things that once mattered may stop mattering.
And things you never expected may become important.
Living Well is not about creating the perfect life and somehow staying there.
Living Well is about finding our way back to what matters most.
A little more aware.
A little more resilient.
And with a clearer path back.
